We recently went to Ashleigh's 4 year old check up. All was well except for this eye situation that she has been having for some time. Gradually, the itching and the pushing and the watering got worse. We were sent to an Opthalmologist (am I spelling that right?) just to make sure everything was kosher and to either confirm or deny an eye allergy. Not only did we find out that she has allergies and pretty dry eyes due to the allergies, we found out that she has astigmatism in her right eye and she was having trouble seeing out of it. SHOCKED, we were told that she will need to wear these beautiful Disney Princess glasses until she is about eight.
